Lakeland Pickleball Academy
Location: Lakeland, FL
Project Narrative
This project involved transforming an empty warehouse into a fully operational, 7‑court indoor pickleball academy. The space originally featured semi‑polished concrete, which required significant preparation to achieve the necessary surface texture for proper coating adhesion. Our team performed full shotblasting and grinding to bring the slab to an optimal profile for sports surfacing.
After preparing the base, we repaired and filled all existing cracks before beginning a multi‑layer surfacing process using SportMaster’s professional acrylic system. Each court received primer, acrylic resurfacer, and premium sport‑grade color coatings. To complete the facility, we installed individual perimeter fencing around each court and outfitted the academy with Addict Pickleball’s permanent in‑ground net systems.
