Driveway Pickleball Court Resurfacing

Location: Tarpon Springs, FL

Project Narrative

This project presented a unique challenge: the client wanted a dual‑purpose driveway that could function both as a parking area and as a high‑quality pickleball court—without sacrificing performance in either direction. The existing space had amateur court lines and inexpensive net systems, but the aging asphalt was cracked, uneven, and not suitable for true pickleball play.

To meet the client’s needs, we used StreetBond, an advanced and highly durable acrylic coating capable of withstanding vehicle traffic while still providing a vibrant, playable sports surface. Our team rebuilt and refinished the driveway from the ground up, ensuring proper leveling, repairing structural issues, and installing professional-grade court surfacing and equipment.

Scope of Work

  • Grinded and leveled the existing asphalt driveway to prepare a smooth base.
  • Filled cracks and completed patch repair across the playing area.
  • Prepared the entire surface for dual‑use acrylic coating.
  • Applied StreetBond durable acrylic surfacing engineered for vehicle load.
  • Installed two fully lined pickleball courts.
  • Installed two semi‑permanent net systems from Addict Pickleball.

Outcome

The result is a beautifully resurfaced, multi‑use driveway that functions as both a long‑lasting parking space and a pair of professional‑quality pickleball courts. The client now enjoys a durable, high‑performance playing surface without sacrificing the everyday utility of the driveway.
